NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTED: RALONDA IVY SMITH

Ralonda graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and she has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix at their Levittown, PA campus.
She just finished her teaching assignment at Foundation Academy Charter School in Trenton. She has been teaching in the Trenton, NJ area since her graduation in 1995. She dedicated herself to helping, aiding, and educating urban children at risk. She has a special interest in improving reading skills of children in the K thru 8th grade bracket.
For many years, she has resided in Trenton not far from the Trenton Trinity Cathedral where the main TASP program operates.
The search for Tina Blackledge's replacement took two solid months and covered a wide variety of sources of talented, not for profit leaders. The search committees was pleased with the 34 resumes received and were impressed with the final three candidates who were selected to meet the TASP Board of Directors before Ralonda was selected.
